15 and 16 September 2012, the Prime Minister opens the doors of the Hotel de Vogüé, seat of the Centre for Strategic Analysis.

On the occasion of European Heritage Days, the Strategic Analysis Centre has two new exhibitions on the works of Jean Monnet and Ernest Sanson. They will be accompanied by an animation for children in the soul detective.

Strategic Analysis Centre - Hotel VogüéTwo historical figures, two architects who "build" is in overcoming borders. Those of Europe and history for Jean Monnet. Those of the world and severity for Ernest Sanson.

On the occasion of the 29th edition of the European Heritage Days, the Strategic Analysis Centre opens its doors and gives access to the memory of these two architects border.

Apart from visiting the mansion of a remarkable style "neoclassical", visitors will have access to two exhibitions.

The first is devoted to the first Commissioner to plan, Jean Monnet, who occupied the premises from 1946 to 1952, the second takes us to the creation of a globe-trotting architect Ernest Sanson.

Jean Monnet, the spirit and letter

Celebrated as one of the founding fathers of what became the European Union, Jean Monnet (1888 - 1979) was also the first Planning Commissioner from 1946 to 1952. Subsidies associated with the Marshall Plan, the Plan Monnet had a positive and significant effect on the "early recovery of living of the population."

On the occasion of an exhibition on the life and work of Jean Monnet we will recreate his office Planning Commissioner. On the antique furniture will be exhibited for the first time some of his personal and business letters.

Ernest Sanson "The plans of the plan"

It is through the precision of his features Ernest Sanson will be represented in this exhibition dedicated to him. Nomadic and prolific architect, he is, among other things, the origin of several neoclassical mansions in America.

From this side of the ocean, we know for the "Pink Palace" that was erected in place of the current No. 50 on Avenue Foch. A building described as "huge marble vessel" by Academician Peter Nolhac.

Already in the Hall Vogüé, more modest, there is the great interest that the architect will continue to give the stairs. Over passages, it makes carrying elements of lightness and clarity of the building. Centre for Strategic Analysis, you will not fail to observe that staircase in an air that sensualité chaste coat is a fragment of light.

Children recount plans

An animation will be offered to children to enable them to reconstruct, step by step, the history of CAS, the Hôtel de Vogüé and Jean Monnet .They slip into the shoes of detectives to investigate the heart of this mysterious mansion where the stories come together past, present and future. A key, a reward awaits the best investigators.
