1) After the tests of freight trains between Germany and China, it is the turn of Belgium to launch "the Antwerp-Chungking Rail Connection", the rail link between Antwerp and the city of Chungking , located inland to around 1 500 kilometers from Shanghai.

Hupac, Swiss combined transport operator, will offer a daily service in each direction. The route of about 10 000 km from Antwerp and through Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Mongolia and China.
Goods will be collected at the port of Antwerp from different regions and will then the train to China. The pre delivery will be by ship or train.
To avoid unnecessary delays and controls during the trip, the Belgian customs currently negotiating with the authorities in Chungking and customs in various countries of transit.
This new route represents opportunities for Belgium, who hopes that Chinese companies will move there eventually.

2) Klépierre Ségécé, whose activity is the development, management and development of shopping centers, presented a proposed cable car between Paris and Saint-Denis, connecting the Great Hall de la Villette, the Cité des Sciences, the new shopping center's Millennium Bridge Stains, water sports center and the Stade de France, with 5-7 stations along the Canal Saint-Denis. These cable cars could carry 3 000 to 5,000 passengers per hour.
The project, original and green, whose owner is the City of Paris is estimated at 30 million euros. It would overcome the lack of transport of the Plaine-Saint-Denis, currently being developed, including the recent opening of the Millennium Mall, the proposed university campus, the Euro 2016 football ...
Today in France, Grenoble has only this means of transport.

3) The city of La Rochelle tests until mid-July 2011 "Cybus" light electric bus without driver. They can carry up to five passengers at a speed of 10 km / h. The vehicles, designed by Yamaha and the National Institute for Research in Computer Science and Control (INRIA), are equipped with scanners and radar to detect and avoid obstacles.
Taxiway, a length of 800 meters with five breakpoints, is not open to vehicular traffic but is used by pedestrians and two wheels.
A similar system operates in Masdar (eco-city near Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates).
L experiment amounted to 500,000 euros, mainly financed by Europe, the State, the Poitou-Charentes and industrialists. It is part of the European project CityMobil, whose objective is to develop innovative systems and automated public transport could cause passengers exactly where they want, whenever they want.

4) Since 2010, the experiment station device "Actitam" across the transport network (bus, tram, train stations) of Nancy.
This system allows the visually impaired to have the information available at stations on the panels display (time, number of docks, any delays ...). Beacons are activated automatically when passing close to the visually impaired and transmit the information in the form of voice messages on their mobile phones or remote controls specific. A small bell indicates the arrival of information, available instantly.
"Actitam" will soon be deployed to East Paris and within fifteen stations on the line of the TGV Rhine-Rhone, and then be generalized to the entire network, if the results are conclusive.

5) Inspired minicabs in London, EcoCab offers a similar service to radio taxis in Paris, but with a path and a fixed price of travel, determined at the time of booking. Whatever the route taken by the driver or the vagaries of traffic, the tariff does not vary and no extra baggage is charged. By cons, the price depends on the day and time.
For example, the amount of a trip inside Paris starts at 13 euros, that of a transfer Paris-Orly airport, 35 euros and Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, 45 euros.
Reservations can be made ​​by phone or Internet, registration is free and customers do not pay anything in the vehicle but receive a detailed monthly invoice. A text message warns of the arrival of the vehicle. In stations and airports, drivers welcome guests with name on a sign.
EcoCab offers vehicles from 4 to 8 seats, low polluting and their drivers are trained in eco-driving.
