In all OECD countries develop services to support parents in fulfilling their parental duties, in addition to services that better reconcile personal and professional life and family cash benefits. These three objectives: to promote the well-being of children, parents and the relationship between parents / children.
While in France this public policy is structured progressively as shown in the recent creation of a national committee to support parenting, ambition report published by the Centre for Strategic Analysis is twofold: on the one hand, light reflection by a French historical and international approach, on the other, presenting more than 50 actions to support, enhance experiences and promising practices. Their analysis shows the importance for governments to develop services to destination of all parents, regardless of family configuration and at all stages of child development. In this perspective, attention to conditions facilitating access to these services is proving decisive.
