Les RDV du CASAsia has been the center of gravity of the world population for a long time. Today, it is essential to the global economy. Tomorrow, it could be at the heart of military and geostrategic balances of the planet. Three of the best French specialists engaged by a foresight exercise. They give us their vision of the evolution of the three giants of Asia in the next decade. While many experts simply extend the growth curves, they multiply them assumptions from a chapter to another. Their scenarios are based on a deep knowledge of the past and present of China, Japan and India, and many factors of all kinds (economic, demographic, political, cultural, geo) which depend their future on - and with him ours.

  • Jean-Marie Bouissou specializes in contemporary Japan and Director of Research at Sciences Po His latest books are When sumos learn to dance. The end of the Japanese model (Fayard, 2003) and contemporary Japan (Fayard, 2007). He is the founder of the Research Network Manga Network.
  • Christophe Jaffrelot is director of research at CNRS and former director of CERI where he leads the research group "relations Persian Gulf / South Asia." It is one of the leading French specialists from India and Pakistan
